Be Part of the Next ANZAAN Conference

Following the success of our inaugural conference in 2026, the ANZAAN Conference will return in 2027 – bringing the alumni community together once again to connect, learn and share.

The 2027 ANZAAN Conference

The ANZAAN Conference is an annual opportunity for alumni association leaders, committee members, schools and advancement professionals to come together, learn from one another and explore what's working across the alumni sector.

Expect another practical programme focused on the real opportunities and challenges facing alumni associations.

We'll bring together experienced practitioners, subject-matter experts and alumni leaders to share ideas you can take back and use within your own association.

BUILDING ON 2026

Our Inaugural Conference Was Just the Beginning

In June 2026, we brought the alumni community together at St Peter's School, Cambridge for the inaugural ANZAAN Conference.

Across the day, delegates explored topics including:

  • Governance and committee effectiveness

  • Membership and alumni engagement

  • Building stronger relationships with schools

  • Events and community building

  • Privacy and data

  • Technology and finding lost alumni

  • Endowments and fundraising

  • Sponsorship and commercial partnerships

  • Creating value for members

  • Building loyalty and belonging

But some of the most valuable conversations happened between the sessions – meeting other people dealing with many of the same challenges, sharing experiences and discovering how other associations are approaching them.

In 2027, we'll do it again – and build on what we started.

ANZAAN Conference 2027

What to expect in 2027

We're developing the 2027 programme now.

While the speakers and topics are still to be announced, you can expect the same principles that shaped our inaugural conference:

Practical
Ideas, examples and approaches you can actually take back and use.

Relevant
A programme built around the issues alumni associations are dealing with right now.

Shared
Opportunities to hear what's working – and what's not – from other associations.

Connected
Time to meet other alumni leaders, build relationships and become part of a wider community.

Forward-Looking
New thinking about technology, engagement, governance and the future role of alumni associations.
