Benchmarking Survey
Help shape the future of school alumni organisations in New Zealand by contributing to this sector benchmarking survey. Your responses will remain confidential and will help identify best practice, common challenges and opportunities for stronger alumni programmes.
This survey is designed to gather information from alumni organisations across New Zealand schools. The findings will be used to identify best practice models, common challenges, and structural approaches that can support the development of high-performing alumni programmes across the sector.
We welcome responses from whoever leads your alumni function, whether that is a dedicated alumni relations manager, a development office team member, or a volunteer committee chair.
Please answer all questions as accurately as possible. Where exact figures are unavailable, informed estimates are welcome. All responses will be aggregated and anonymised in all published findings. Individual school data will not be identified without consent. You do not have to answer all questions.
It is estimated to take 20–25 minutes. You can come and go from the survey as often as you wish. Just please complete by 28th May.
We have used the term Alumni throughout the survey to represent past students, staff and in some cases past parents. We appreciate different schools may use other terms. eg. Old Boys, Old girls, Collegians.
